Location and surroundings of this property

The original fishing village of Gager is located on the Mönchgut peninsula in the south-eastern tip of Rügen on the south coast of the Hagenschen Wiek and on the north coast of the Zicker See. These are two bays in the north-east of the Greifswald Bodden. The village borders directly on the mountain range of the Zicker Mountains, the highest elevation of which is the Bakenberg (66 m). The mountain, like the entire Zickersche Berge, is located in the Zicker sub-area of the Mönchgut nature reserve. This region is popular with tourists because of the multifaceted landscape and the and the fine sandy, endless beaches. The well-developed marina with a draught of 2.50 m to 4 m is well protected and, with 80 berths, offers the best conditions for both day guests and permanent berth holders.
