The detached house on offer here, which is ideal for families, is located in the centre of the versatile location in Teltow-Seehof. The historic country house was built in the 1930s in a very quiet side street on a plot of approx. 863 m². Thanks to the detailed renovation in 2000, the typical architecture from the construction period can still be felt today. The property impresses with typical details from the 1930s, such as the beautifully curved wooden staircase, the original wooden floorboards and the exposed roof beams. The living space of approx. 169 m² is currently spread over four rooms and extends over two floors. On the ground floor is the spacious dining area with an open-plan, country-style kitchen and adjoining living room. From here you can access the large, covered terrace. A flight of steps leads to the idyllic and skilfully landscaped garden. Between ornamental shrubs, fruit bushes and raised beds, there are various retreats to discover, which are also ideal for sunbathing. In winter, a large open fireplace in the entrance invites you to spend relaxing moments and creates a cosy ambience in the cooler months of the year. You can reach the upper floor via the solid oak staircase. Two rooms are currently available here, which are currently used as a living area and bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. The floor plan can be easily remodelled and an additional room added. A staircase leads up to the loft, which is perfect as a play and sleeping area and still has room for expansion. The spacious floor plan of the well-lit country house leaves plenty of design options for your own wishes. Welcome to your new home in a prime location in Teltow Seehof!

Location and surroundings of this property
The town of Teltow was first mentioned in a document by Margrave Otto III in 1265. After the opening of the Teltow Canal in 1906, the small farming town gradually developed into an industrial town. The locals themselves also call their home “Rübchenstadt” – after a turnip grown around Teltow that is popular beyond the region’s borders. Located directly on the south-western edge of Berlin, Teltow is now the most populous town in the Brandenburg district of Potsdam-Mittelmark with around 28,000 inhabitants. Thanks to the kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools as well as the Berlin Brandenburg International School (BBIS ), families will find the right institution to support their offspring in the new neighbourhood. The bilingual John F. Kennedy School in Berlin-Zehlendorf is also within easy reach. The nearest bus stop is just a short walk from the property on offer and offers connections to the nearby S-Bahn and regional railway station (with park & ride facilities). The distance to Potsdam city centre is approx. 17 km, to Berlin-Mitte it is about 20 km. Teltow’s historic town centre delights visitors with its picturesque market square and the former town hall, which now houses the registry office. Numerous appealing restaurants with regional cuisine and pretty cafés invite you to linger. The landmark of Teltow, visible from afar, is St Andrew’s Church. Its high tower between the old trees attracts attention. Teltow is an extremely popular place to live, and not just because of its good transport links. The Seehof neighbourhood, which borders directly on the Berlin district of Lichterfelde-Süd, is particularly popular. Historic villas and new detached houses characterise the face of this upmarket residential area. Surrounded by lovingly landscaped gardens, mature trees and beautiful parks, it is a tranquil place to live close to nature – the nearby Teltow Canal, for example, is ideal for long walks or jogging tours along the banks. With Berlin and Potsdam on your doorstep, you can also go on numerous excursions and take advantage of the diverse cultural offerings.
